Generally, it can take anywhere from an hour to 2+ hours, because we do same-day crowns, and it takes a while for the mill to create your new prosthetic.

Root Canal: An hour to an hour and a half, but if we’re doing the crown start to finish, that takes about 3 hours, depending on how many crowns are being done.

If there’s no infection present, you don’t have medical conditions that require pre-medication, and if we have time in our schedule that day, we can.

With all dental work, you can eat as soon as you leave the office, except for when fluoride has been applied, and in that case, you should wait 30 minutes.

If we have personally instructed you to not eat for a certain amount of time, that overrides this answer.

It’s highly recommended not to smoke for at least 4 days. That being said, if you must, you can smoke except for dental extractions or implant placement.
